Progress after yesterday (12 June 2015) the Medical Council voted by more than 2/3 to confirm the original resolution to punish 3 doctors in the case of "Thaksin Shinawatra" being treated on the 14th floor of Police General Hospital. Mr. Surin Susawat, the lawyer for Pol. Lt. Gen. Soponrat Singhajaru, Assistant Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police and former Chief Medical Officer of the Police General Hospital, revealed that he is currently waiting for an official order from the Medical Council after it voted to suspend his medical license for 3 months.
